Three International Summer Schools on Conflict, Peace and Governance

The Department of Political Science organised three international summer schools in partnership with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, a German organisation. They were the first summer schools of their kind in Pakistan for social science students from around the world. Students from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Oman, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and India attended these summer schools. Resource persons for these summer schools were arranged from the UK, Germany, the USA, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

Exchange Summer Schools with Erfurt University, Germany

The Department of Political Science, through an MOU with the University of Erfurt, Germany, arranged faculty and student exchange in a series of summer schools. Ten students and four faculty members from the department visited Germany, and twelve students and three faculty members from Erfurt University, Germany, visited Pakistan.
